MILITARY-Against All Odds - The Battle Of Long Tan Print Framed

This stunning tribute print is dedicated to one of the most famous battles of the Vietnam War.

On August 18, 1966, at 'Phuoc Tuy Province" South Vietnam, there stood 105 Australian and 3 New Zealand soldiers of the 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. They came face to face with an estimated 2500 North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong Soldiers, in a rubber plantation at Long Tan.
Despite seemingly insurmountable opposition or probability of success, they would engage in an unrelenting close quarter bloody firefight, this encounter would go down in history as the "Battle of Long Tan" as the outnumbered ANZAC spirit held the opposing army away until reinforcements arrived to overcome their opponents. The Anzacs lost 18 soldiers in this battle, so their names and rank are displayed in their honour across the print "YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN"
