Jimmy Bartel is a retired Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Cats in the AFL from 2002 to 2016. Known for his versatility, he excelled as a midfielder and half-back. Over his career, he played 305 games and kicked 118 goals, helping lead Geelong to three premierships in 2007, 2009, and 2011. Bartel won the prestigious Brownlow Medal in 2007 and was named the Norm Smith Medalist in the 2009 Grand Final. A multiple-time All-Australian, he was also Geelong's Best and Fairest in 2006 and 2007. After retiring, he transitioned to a media career as a commentator and pursued business ventures.
