RICHMOND Dick Clay Signed Woollen Jumper Number 8

Dick Clay (full name Richard Harold Clay, born 6 March 1945) is a celebrated former Australian rules footballer who starred for the Richmond Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL), now the AFL. Renowned for his versatility, strong marking, blistering pace and long kicking, Clay played 213 games and kicked 80 goals for Richmond between 1966 and 1976, featuring in four premiership-winning teams (1967, 1969, 1973 and 1974) and forming part of one of the club’s most successful eras. He was later inducted into the Richmond Hall of Fame, named in the Team of the Century, and elevated to Immortal status by the club in recognition of his outstanding contributions.
