1936-37 Bradman's first series as captain, after losing the first 2 tests, the 3rd was rain affected and played on a wet wicket Aust made 200 of which Bradman made 13, England declared at 9-76 in order to get Australia to bat again on a wet wicket, Bradman sent his bowlers in to open the innings in order to let the wicket dry more, the next day he came in to bat and made 270 and won that test, he made 212 in the next and 169 in the last to win the series, but the third test was “the turning of the tide” .
